KATJA BRAUNEIS was trained at the well known „Musicalstudio/Theater an der Wien and played title-roles like „Peter Pan“/Theater des Westens, „Evita“/Staatstheater Karlsruhe or „Sweet Charity“/Stadttheater Bern at numerous big german theaters.

She was „Maggie“ in „A Chorus Line“ at the Vereinigte Bühnen/Wien, „Frankie“ in „On Your Toes“ at the Staatstheater Stuttgart, „Maria“ in „West Side Story“ at the Tiroler Landestheater, the „Rössl-Wirtin“ in „Im Weißen Rössl“ at the Stadttheater Minden and the first german „Janet“ („The Rocky Horror Show“) as well as „Audrey“ („Little Shop Of Horrors“ – she also recorded the german CD) at the Berliner Kammerspiele.

She is a very experienced soloist for Musical- and Jazz-galas, sang already in five productions of the Friedrichstadtpalast and the journal musicals chose her CD „Oldfashioned Girl“ for „best solo-album of the year 2000“.

ANDREAS DAVID (musical director, arrangements) is founder and leader of the „Hot String Quintet“ as well as „The Perlons“, steady member of the „Jo-Roloff-Combo“ (Band of the comedy-trio „Geschwister Pfister“) since 2002 and because of his enormous velocity (Gitarre, Banjo, Mandoline, Ukulele, Pedal/Lap Steel Guitar, Dobro) a frequently booked musician in many other musical formations („Metropolitan Swing“, „Country Classic Circus“, „Berlin Hot Jazz Band“ etc.).

Being self-trained on all of his instruments he became one of Europe’s best banjo-players (“Bela Fleck of the old world”) and proves in several musical styles like Jazz, Swing, Dixieland, Pop and Country perfect finger-technique.
